Connection #79- Ayr, Scotland

The last connection for the World Read Aloud Day for us was with our fifth graders and Bill Boyd from Ayr, Scotland. Due to the time difference (5 hours) Bill read to us from his home.

He dressed up for us as a pirate to read a few chapters from “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson. Again, students were able to ask questions and especially enjoyed Bill’s Scottish accent.
