Grade 5 9 months, 1 week agoWith the new common core in 5th grade Ohio’s Social Standards have evolved into learning about Western Civilization. I am in search of any Canadian schools, preferably in Eastern or Central time zones to skype with to help the 5th graders learn about Canada.

We are currently learning about social justice, being global citizens, and rights and freedoms. Grade 5: 1 year, 8 months agoI teach at an American International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Our students come from all over the world. Next week, we celebrate UN Week and our theme is ”Going Global – Making Friends Around the World.” So, we are looking for a class we can make friends with and exchange emails, hopefully Skype, too!

Grade 5: 1 year, 9 months agoWe are beginning our Fifth Grade year studying the culture and geography of England. We would love to connect with a school in England to hear what life is like there. During the latter part of the year we study the American Revolutionary War so it would be interesting to continue our Skype conversations with the class in England!
